Wes Anderson’s American Express

This weekend caught American Dreamz (1 of 5 stars, thoughts on film coming) at the AMC movie house furthest from my house but within 2 miles of another one. That is another story. Before the movie began, though they played this commercial for American Express cards featuring Wes Anderson of Rushmore fame. Watch it. Like me, you’ll wonder when the Wilson brothers will show up.

  1. Are those my birds? Hee hee Wes 4-Ever and all hail Robert Yoeman.

  2. From the movie Bottlerocket, Dignan says, “Here are just a few of the key ingredients: dynamite, pole vaulting, laughing gas, choppers – can you see how incredible this is going to be? – hang gliding, come on!” Wes Anderson is awesome he always has so much stuff going on in his movies.

  3. This scene was too similar to the Rushmore scene. I thought he wasn’t who he said he was.

It would’ve been cooler if he had the three Wilson brothers in it. Plus Kumar. Or the math teacher dude.
