Apple asks, "Which MacBook are you?"

gen PowerBook user?Taking a look at that page, the MacBook Air is pretty sorry looking, so
last year's model. When will it get the new cosmetics to make it sleek
and sexy like its brethren?

    Hee hee. Actually the MB is quite enticing. I don’t need a super powerful machine. I got that at home. Too bad the MB lacks FW.

    I do love the design though and majority of it’s features.

    The 2 things that bother me is the exclusion of FW on the new MB’s and the loss of Matte on the MBP.

    I mean why have faster CPUs for Pro work with a crap glossy screen? Man, if they had FW on the MB I would definitely consider it.

    Would you consider the MBP if it had matte screens?

    Hopefully, the PowerBooks will come back for the Power users.

    Yeah. If the Matte screen comes back I’d get it. Hell, I’ll pick up a version without it. It sucks but, I could do the real stuff at home.

    I really dig the design and functions of the new books. The Matte would be awesome, but the more I think about it it really doesn’t bother me. I’ll have to see what people say in real world usage.

    Have you checked them out yet?

    I’m still in shock about the loss of FW on the MB. That would have been a nice little machine that takes up the 12 inch PB’s empty spot.

    I just really hope Rev B’s bring the matte back to the Pro.
