US 2 – Spain 0 in a Confederation Cup semi-final. US makes it into a final of an actual tournament. They do it by beating the best team in the world. Woohoo!

Orioles 2 – Marlins 4. WTF! They can sweep the defending national champs, but not a somewhat sorry team.

    they (O's) were working, even Pie, except on that 7th inning where he held on to the ball so tight he didnt want to throw it. freaking mistake!

    yes. i believe this happened on one of those Melvin Mora back hand catches that failed.

    Wimby: i only watch for Ivanovic and Jankovic for women's, not Sharapova. both are still in second round. there's no Nadal this time for injury. bummer. but of course, i am for Federer, so i keep my fingers crossed. =)
