As they’re kissing their hellos

That DNA remix of Suzanne Vega’s Tom’s Diner is about twenty years old. I heard it on the drive home Monday and was instantly transported back. That time of my life. So cherished. The winter of 1990. So fun. I can recall it like yesterday. The sights and sounds of The U, SRC, 4th floor with the guys. And that winter.

I am thinking of your voice…

  1. When I first clicked on this post I thought it was a risque deleted scene from Avatar. Heh.

  2. You and your avatar. Sheesh.

  3. A VA TAR

I like cheesy big stuff sometimes. I'm also enamored by filmmaking as a whole so I'm quite amazed with Avatar. What can I say? Heh.

Although I just saw Moon, and I'd say that should be on my list of faves from 2009. Clint Mansell up there with Giacchino and Alexander Desplat.

I really hope Cameron chooses a different composer next time. He already has a co-writer. I really want to see him take a chance character-wise/story-wise with Angelita.
