The Real Hawaii?!?

This Ko Olina place sure doesn’t feel like Hawaii. I saw a pirate ship. You only see that in Vegas and Disney. We’re not in either if those places. There’s a lot if kids running around the beach that it feels like Typhoon Lagoon. That would be Disney as well. So far I am underwhelmed with this place. Where is the real Hawaii?

    The "real Hawai'i" certainly isn't at Ko Olina!

    Grab the car and head to the Windward Side of the island. Go to Punalu'u beach park. Today is Sunday, grab the car and head to Ala Moana Beach Park, there you'll find lots of local people, picnicking and spending time with their families.

    But you won't find anything but a Disney-fied world at Ko Olina.
