Link of the Day [2.08.11]

With the ending of football, it’s getting close to baseball season. Pretty soon catchers and pitchers report for Spring Training and then the whole squad. Then 3 weeks of meaningless games and then the big show. Opening day!

In the meantime, imagine that your a fan who has nothing better to do. You’re flipping channels between MLB Network and what else’s on. You happen upon Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and get to the Wrigley Field scene. You too would spend time trying to figure out the actual game that the movie used, right? Or is that too baseball-geeky?

    I was reading the same article at work yesterday as well. In fact, today's link of the day (2.9.11) is another good link from that article.

    And yes you were only a little tyke when Bueller hooked school. Does anything in that movie relate to anything that you can do in the PI when you hook school?

    The eat out part maybe. When we cut class, we go see a movie or the guys play billiards (I don't) or sing some karaoke or get a bottle of light beer.

    Light Beer! I don't think I've ever played hookie from school and got some beer. (I don't count in college)

    All that was during college too. There's a sports bar w/ billiard tables beside the school. There's also a karaoke place beside the school.

    And the light beer, coz we're still going to the 4pm class that ends at 7. Lol.
