I’m so bored I feel like watching all the Endless Eight episodes.
Except I didn’t, but I did watch the first season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya — in broadcast order. I binged watch the first season yesterday! I was feeling in the mood. Strange, too. It seems like some of the cast felt the same way. See the Aya Hirano tweet of “Hare! Hare! Yukai!” — the ending dance which was a big hit a decade ago. Seems like they too are going crazy and perhaps thinking about Endless Eight.
Haruhi is one of my favorite anime. It was the one that truly got me back into anime. I bought the DVDs as they were released back in 2007 not knowing what I would be getting into. I’m not sure how I heard about it, but once I watched the first disc, I was hooked.
Those discs were in the chronological order. The broadcast order is something else. I’ve always wanted to see it that way. Personally, it is much better. The ending in the broadcast order is so much more powerful and great. I cried at the end.
