R.I.P. Sir Patrick Stewart
It was yesterday afternoon that we had learned that Sir Patrick Stewart had died on Wednesday. This news saddens me.
He will forever be the Federation’s Captain Picard — my captain from The Next Generation which I grew up watching. Yet, he’s so much more. Gurney Halick in David Lynch’s Dune, the doctor in Tobe Hooper’s Lifeforce, and of course, Professor X in the X-Men movies. These are all roles I loved him in.
Rest in peace, dear sir.
