James Bond Theme Songs
The new Bond film opens this weekend. There’s a lot of chatter on the net about it. Lots of people are excited and I hear that it is getting some decent reviews. Here’s a link to a page with many of the theme songs from past bond films. I never new how cool they sounded. While certainly there are a few clunkers, putting all these onto your iPod would be cool. Someone rip these for me.Anyway, there are a few that are cool. Check out the “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” theme song and you’ll find the precedent for “The Incredibles” theme. Garbage, a favorite band, did “The World is Not Enough” and it sounds like them. “You Only Live Twice” was sampled by Robbie Williams for “Millennium,” but it still is a cool tune. I am going to have to see if the iTunes Music Store has all these.And of course Bond’s Theme song is rather cool as well.

I’ll make you a disk. I’ve got “The Best Of Bond” It’s a wonderful collection. I pop it on whenever I’m in my car or tailing a chick. Just Kidding. That makes me sound creepy. But it’s a good disk.
On a side note. This is why having thelarge size Gigabytes come in handy on the ipod. You may joke that it’s too much, but it’s nice being able to pull up anything at any moment. Like this Bond album. I don’t always listen to it, but it’s for whenever I want jam to Sheena Easton. By the way that’s my favorite Bond song. “For Your Eyes Only” tehn “Live and Let Die”. “But Your Majesty’s Secret Service” had that cool hook. I’m gonna pop it in now.
You Always Live Twice is driving me crazy. I keep hearing Robbie Williams. I like the hook.
Just listened to the whole album again. I wish the writers of the new James Bonds films would sit down and listen to this collection. There’s no way they wouldn’t be inspired to make something classy and intriguing. It’s so funny to listen to that Ah-Ha song though. It sure sticks out like a sour thumb. Good thing they didn’t include Madonna’s.
Madonna’s sucked. Almost as if it were an outtake from her last album.
Done dude. That collection of Bond themes has been on my iPod for awhile now.
In fact, just picked up the Casino Royale CD the other day and it’s on the iPod.
