The War Against Fat: Conceding Ground

May Fatness

May, much like, April was terrible in the fat war. I neither gained or lost (in my mind), but really it was another lost month. Now, I’m actually almost back above my goal from earlier this year, 205. I’m getting back on the rowing front, but I have to do my exercises. I’ll try these as calisthenics.

I’ve adjusted my goals so that by mid-August, I get to the 195. Need to focus. Let’s do this.

  1. Hey Buddy, I'm right there with you. Two months so far of flatlining.

I finally went and bought one of those Gold's Gym Sauna Suits for when I work out. Yep you drip alot but it works. Ask Jackie Chan!

Also just realized that I need to pick up the pace. Doing Kung fu and my Sifu has beefed up our work outs. I slept like a baby for the first time in months last night. lost 3 lbs.

    Keep up the Good Fight!!

  2. So those sauna suits? You sweat a lot, but do you really lose weight? Or do you put it back because it's just water? Hmm. I think I may look into that.

  3. pretty much. but i only use it in short bursts for cardio. and drink lots of water. you don't want to become dehydrated.

it just helps getting over that flat line but it doesn't have to be a staple for your routine.

  4. okay just discussed with a colleague. i gave you bad advice. forget the sauna suit. throwing mine out.

  5. LOL! About the sauna suit.
