This is something to look forward to. I hope we can see it in the theaters rather than streaming. I also want the salty, buttery oil popcorn, too. Man, do I miss that snack.

I like the idols that I follow. I like to cheer them on. I know that they take comfort in the support from their fans. It makes them happy.
Yet it’s also great that they like to cheer us on. How? By being cute, talented, and hard-working. They do what they do, because it makes their fans happy.
Early this week, Nogizaka46 released a music video to give us hope that we’ll soon get out of this rona season of madness. Its title in romaji is “Sekaijuu no Rinjin yo” and in English is “Neighbors Around the World.” They hope that this song reaches you and makes your day a little bit brighter. They hope it brings a smile to your face. They want you to be happy even amongst this madness.
Know that they sing for everyone around the world.
I love the idols that I follow.
I guess I was wrong on the last one. This one here is the most recent. It’s from last September which seems like a long time ago. This is from the last day of last summer’s national tour AKA Sakurai Reika Graduation concert. Captain’s graduation. Really, the end game for the 1st Generation Nogizaka members. It was a great run, and I will miss them, but long live Nogizaka46!
Is this the last version that I’ll show you? Perhaps. But if I find more, you can bet they’ll end up here.
The most recent one and, I believe, the one I watched over and over such that I decided to go with this theme. From 2019 and Nogizaka46’s 7th Year Birthday Live at Osaka Dome. Yamashita sporting twin-tails means this was on day 3 of 4. The last being Nanase’s graduation concert. Be thankful for having the full version. They don’t often do the full version, because for their birthday lives, they do their entire discography — 170+ at this time. This year it was 200 songs!
Maiyan may have graduated. Long live Maiyan!
This one is a mix of multiple versions. You’ve seen a few, and haven’t. Some are hard to find on YouTube. You may like it. I certainly do.
Can you dig it?
I can. Sometimes I think this is the best version of all. Sometimes.
The members at their peak. Tokyo Dome is what they strived for and after 6 years they reached it. It was great to see them there. Maybe it was all downhill from that point, but still we got Tokyo Dome in 2017.
Sorry about the low quality of the video. This is the only 2nd Year BD Live I can find on YouTube. Thank kami-sama I found it. Of course now that I’ve showed it to you, it’s ruined the flow. We have to go back in time to 2014. The best was but the best is still to come.
I’m just here to see the girls sweat. I’ll stay for the first live performance of Nigemizu. You stick around, too. I think you’ll enjoy this.
You know I think I remember this being one of the first Nogizaka46 concerts I watched either live as it was streaming or soon after from one of the idol video web pages. Most likely a day or two after since I didn’t know where or when someone would stream Japanese idol shows — not on YouTube as the algorithm hadn’t found out my obsession. Nowadays, it’s easy. There’s even some dudes that stream the Sakamichi block on Sunday morning — 3 shows from Nogizaka and her sister groups that usually air midnight JST Sunday. Although, the stream killers have been taking them down lately.
