ある雨の日
My new namesake. This matches my mood most of the time, and at this early hour I feel it. Someday. In the rain. It makes me smile.
Not standing still but being in motion

If you’ve been following me on your watch, then you’ll know that I have started working out again this year. Maybe. At least I am trying to be more active this year.
So to help, I signed up for the free month on Apple Fitness+. I guess it’s something to get me moving almost daily.
So far I’ve only stuck with the beginner workouts in the dance and kickboxing categories. I also have done some of the meditation and cooldown episodes, but those are really to slow down and chill out.
I wish there was a place to get better info on some of the workouts. I tried a few out of the beginner’s bracket and found them to be a bit too intense for now. I also wish it had a better save mechanism as you always have to scroll to find the workouts you’d save. At least that’s the behavior on AppleTV.
So come out and join me on my workouts.
Electronic music and trains. When did that become a hip combo?
Via Kottke. I guess my fascination for these POV videos isn’t the only one out there. Seems others share my fascination.
I’m loving these “out and about” videos because of the different views of places not only during this pandemic but just during normal times. I wish to be out there, too.
Out and about in the rain. It’s been nice weather. It’s been somewhat cool. I don’t look forward to the warmer weather coming especially if we still have to wear a mask.
To make up for such a lame post today, here’s some action for you. Some skateboard action.
I keep watching these guys bomb these hills and completely worry about them. What about a pebble in the road? Or a crack? Or cars coming their way? What does a wreck look like? I don’t really want that answered. I just want them to make it down in one piece. It’s amazing that they do.
It’s both a city and a country!! Huzzah for the Merlion!!
I can’t believe it has been six years since I had visited Singapore. It’s a place I would love to go back. I am glad I went before it truly became the hot destination to go to after Crazy Rich Asians made it a star. Still, it’s one of those places that seem to be so lively to be at. Enjoy this walk about.
They’ve shut down Disneyland’s all around the world! It will be a while before you have people enjoying this fantasy land. It will be a while before I can go visit my favorite ride in Disneyland, the Haunted Mansion. Of course, a YouTube video is no substitution, but this is where we are at now.
I’ve featured a Kraig Adams hiking video before. While not like the previous one, Shibuya Tokyo, Japan, This is some quiet calmness. It may be too relaxing as the emptiness is like the emptiness at your house. No people. But still the world is a beautiful place and there’s lots of it. We’ve only been to a small fraction of it. I wish for the day to go out and explore some more.
