Link of the Day [8.06.22]

I think I like train travel. I haven’t really done much, and in America it really doesn’t work, but it is very intriguing to me. I’ve done a few train trips before — once from Paris to Barcelona, a trip into Munich, trips to New York. It’s a small sample size, I know, but still I find it highly interesting.

So today’s link get’s you to see all the American routes of Amtrak. It does show you how to get from one side of the country to the other by the terrible American train network.

Out & About [Los Angeles, CA]

I’m loving these “out and about” videos because of the different views of places not only during this pandemic but just during normal times. I wish to be out there, too.

Out & About {Shibuya}

Out and about in the rain. It’s been nice weather. It’s been somewhat cool. I don’t look forward to the warmer weather coming especially if we still have to wear a mask.

Out & About [Singapore]

It’s both a city and a country!! Huzzah for the Merlion!!

I can’t believe it has been six years since I had visited Singapore. It’s a place I would love to go back. I am glad I went before it truly became the hot destination to go to after Crazy Rich Asians made it a star. Still, it’s one of those places that seem to be so lively to be at. Enjoy this walk about.

Link of the Day [5.08.16]

It took two weeks, but finally finished up the compilation anthology of Road & Kingdoms travel/food guide for Japan: Fish, Noodles, Rice — Deep Travels Through Japan’s Food Culture. Reading through it made me really want to go and travel Japan from tip to tip. From Fukuoka on the south island, Kyushu, to Hokkaido in the north, I want to travel and experience the food of Japan.

Maybe. Maybe. Maybe someday…
