Is there a better iPhone earphone? I'm onto my second one, because on the first the rubber around the
earbuds became frayed and fell off making wearing them uncomfortable.
The second pair is a newer update. It's rubberized coating around the
wire makes it less likely to tangle. It's a fine pair, but they too are
starting to fray at the earbuds. My main criteria will be cost. Again, I'm on my second set and I've had
the iPhone for two years. I can't imagine spending $150 for earphones
and then losing them. Or that they suck. And they still need to have the inline remote. That is awesome.http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2009/02/13/replacement-iphone-earphones

I haven’t started shopping for the holiday season. It seems we’ve made a pack to only by the kids a present, and also to buy siblings, but none for anyone else. That’s like a really sad Christmas. This economy is making us all into Scrooges. I have to strike some people from my list. Maybe you?

I’m probably gonna use the new Amazon iPhone app to do my Christmas shopping. Or maybe not as I hope to get all I need before the end of next week.

What are they selling? What are they saying? What’s with the dog? Is that a black person speaking Japanese? Is that manga? Can I read manga on MY iPhone, real manga and not the scanlations I can find on the web? Will it stream anime in Japan? Why can’t it stream anime in the US? My netflix queue is backed up with anime that I haven’t gotten to. They need a nendroid holding one of these…

The wonders of technology never cease to amaze!

So you bought an iPhone 3G? I’ve got the old one. You’ve got the new one. There’s nothing special about that right?

This dude bought one, but it came with pics already on the machine. Interesting. You’ve probably read about this already. Just had to post it for the link of the day. I can’t say how real this is. It could all be just one of those internet hoaxes as well.

I saw a post on TUAW where the author, after reading an interview with one an Apple VP in charge of hardware, laments that Apple deems “cut and paste” a low priority. I think that John Gruber at DaringFireball.net (It’s a daily read, right?) tries to make sense of “cut and paste’s” low priority. He’s right in a way.

I really don’t miss it much. It would be handy, and I can see the need. I just wonder how would you implement such a feature.

Look at what’s available in the two versions of iPhone: the touchscreen, home button, on-off button, mute switch, and volumes. Which of these would you use to implement “copy and paste?” How would you even select the item? Tap-drag? Three finger tapping? Press home button while tapping? Some of these gestures feel awkward. Some of them are uncomfortable. I wonder what Apple will do. And can we live with it for the next 30 years?
