Joe Flacco is maddening. Ain't he though?

On occasion he looks lost in the pocket not aware of what is happening around him. Then the playoffs start and he becomes laser focused. He still doesn't play all too well, but he wins.

In the playoffs, he beats other teams with QBs such as Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Big Ben Roethlisburger. He beats teams with lesser QBs. He just wins.

Why then does he stink during the regular season?

Who is this guy?

I’ve been watching lots of Simpsons since FXX started showing them after last summer’s Simpsons marathon. I’ve been watching new episodes for me and have started catching up to the last decade that I have missed. Although, they’re not as good as the ones of my youth, they’re passable.

I think today’s link is correct in describing the many phases of The Simpsons. The show did get terribly absurd at the turn of the century, but has been steadily, if unevenly, producing some fun, funny episodes and seasons.

Back in August, FXX had run through #everysimpsonsever, a 24-7 marathon of every episode of The Simpsons. It was a brilliant tactic as it got people who had not seen an episode in a long while thinking about The Simpsons again. I was one of those persons. I hadn't watched an episode in a long while perhaps even a decade has passed. But I've returned, because of that marathon. While I missed the first several seasons in the marathon (the best I believe), I caught a few of the latter years. They didn't turn out to be half bad. I found some of them delightful.

Nowadays, you can find me watching The Simpsons when there is nothing on in the evening. I've even caught a couple of the latest season's episodes. And I've been playing that damn Tapped Out game too much.

Where would we be if you had to live in a place of too much Simpsons? Springfield? Nah. Try again.

How can I not give you a link to a feature on Phil Hartman for NewsRadio Quote Month? It’s for his work on SNL, but it can be applied to NewsRadio. RIP Mr. Hartman. I wish we had more years of you playing characters on the big and the small screens.

I saw this thing on the internet that was a preview of a graphic novel about spooky stories. I believe I saw it on AV Club. The thing is I saw that a while ago and lost track of what the graphic novel was about. I’m still sure I saw it at the AV Club, but I can’t find it there.

You see I like spooky stories. I love ghost stories, haunted houses, getting the creeps, and goosebumps springing up on along the arm. If there’s supernatural things about, I’m there. So a graphic novel with scares is right about my alley.

But I didn’t know who wrote it, because I could not remember anything about that AV Club article. Was it even an AV Club article?

Yet, here we are I found it from a link at Slate.com. It’s by an artist, Emily Carroll, and she’s got plenty of ghastly graphic tales on her site. I want to check them out, then get the book.

I’m only interested in the Apple Watch for figuring out what novel user inputs a developer can do with it. I didn’t really want one until I read this review. Woah. Maybe like the iPhone I’ll wander into the Apple Store and pick one up. Which to choose?

I swore off eating ramen after coming home from the Philippine escapade earlier this year. Now that it's summer time, I feel like some. Ramen! I haven't tried the ramen shop that just opened up in Baltimore. I heard that it was only okay. I haven't cooked any cup noodle or made my own from the dehydrated noodle square. I would like to try the noodles from today's link. It would be easy to. They only service some of the hippest ramen shops in the US. I guess I should mosey on over to one of those and get a nice bowl of shoyu ramen.
