Whoa. Legendary punk record label, Dischord, has placed all their material out for free on bandcamp. That’s the label founded by Minor Threat and Fugazi lead, Ian MacKaye. I only know of those two bands, but the label is an important one for the punk scene as well as the independent music scene. Go listen. You may find something you like.

This was originally going to be the reason I wrote about software development on the 36th day of lockdown. I got so into writing about the books I was reading I couldn’t pivot to this story. Toshiro Mifune would’ve been 100 years ago today. You can celebrate his legacy by catching a few of his films which TCM (Turner Classic Movies) will be showing all day. I think you should because you’re definitely stuck home because of the rona.
And if you don’t want to watch them all, I suggest Seven Samurai in prime time. Then stay up late to finish off the rest of his samurai epics!

It’s nuts right now. The governor has taken steps to mitigate the spread of the corona virus, COVID-19. Schools closing. Events suspended or postponed. Even baseball is not going to happen at the end of the month. Here we go. Like a zombie apocalypse.
I was in CostCo this evening and the lines were crazy. I walked in and out! Luckily, I had shopped earlier this week, but I didn’t truly stock up. The Spam was gone — only two tins. I thought to myself, “Man, is it so bad that white people have resorted to buying Spam?”
Keep safe and practice good hygiene. Wash your hands. I would say don’t touch your face, but I know you can’t help it. I can’t help it. We are in this together and we’re going to need to cooperate to make it through safely.
