Close Your Eyes and Count to 10
YouTube surely does offer wonderful things. I dig the Adele original, but there are plenty of good covers on YouTube. I’m picking this one because of the cello.

For the first few times I watched this cover of my favorite K-ON!! song, I thought I was listening to Mio. Woah. Now I figured that it’s the girl playing the guitar who’s singing. I couldn’t figure it out because lots of these anime covers featuring a girl in a japanese school girl uniform end up being a guy in a japanese school girl uniform. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but damn, japanese guys with smooth lady-like legs is disturbing. Being slightly attracted to, even more disturbing.
Anyway. A for the cover. A++ for the exposed knee a lower thighs. A+++ for the singing; I thought it was Mio.
There’s nothing left to say about Gangnam Style. Or is there? Doesn’t that guy in the elevator remind you of Mike Myers? The Korean Mike Myers!
Does K-pop rule or what?!
Yeah! Sexy. I actually like this K-Pop song. No idea if it’s a current tune or something from last year. It’s ringing in my ears all day. Here’s to having it ring in your ears, too.
Cute asians sexy dancing to crazy K-Pop rap? I’m there!
It’s a crying shame that we can’t get any more Macross outside of the US. We’re missing some great stuff like Macross F.
This is just a beautiful rendition of Diamond Crevasse. It wasn’t a duet, and it wasn’t strictly accompanied by a piano, but getting May’n and Megumi (the VA of Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee respectively) to sing is just plain awesome. If you have the time and the need you should check out the concert that this is from. There’s plenty of it on YouTube so get your fingers a-clicking.
Here’s an easy listening tune from the 2005 OVA anime, Area 88. Just love how night lounge-y the song is. Wish I knew what the lyrics are about and why it sounds as if she’s yearning for a love separated.
I keep trying to play this on my guitar. Not this cover version, but the original by The Black Keys. It’s straight up 3 chord song, but it needs the distortion of fuzz. Anyhow, I think I like this song better than the previous.
What about you?
A rocking cover of a rockin’ Black Keys tune, Lonely Boy, featuring girls on acoustic guitars? Sign in to blogger and post it for a morning music coffe break.
I’m kind of digging it! Hopefully so are you.
If so get up and party for a morning music coffee break!
Jock rock!
No reason to post this except that this was one of the first songs I tried learning. Right? I know. T.G.I.F.
