Hashimoto Nanamin is graduating from Nogizaka46 in February next year, and I feel sad. Another of member of my favorite idol group leaving. This one is tough to take as she is returning to her private life and no longer partaking in the Japanese entertainment industry. Once she’s done she’s done.
I am selfish in that I want her to stick around. Or at least be available as an entertainer. I don’t want to lost track of her. But that is stupid selfish talk.
She deserves what she chooses. She brought her fans so much joy that we she wish gets it back as much.
I wish her well when she graduates.

There are now 47 Nogis to love.
Nogizaka46 just announced their newest members this past weekend. They found another 12 girls to be the third generation of Nogizaka46.
I’m happy for them. They get to be one of the next faces of Nogizaka46, my favorite idol group. I will support them from here on out.
I’m sad for them. Idoling is a brutal business. They are starting at the bottom as novices. They must go through training in dance, singing, and idol maneuvers before they can be said to be ready. Then they face their fans who will bring their attitudes and prejudices against them.
It took the second generation almost two full years for them to all achieve full membership. Will third generation make it to full fledge membership in a shorter time? I’m not sure I have 2 years to find out…
Anyhow, I’ll support them as long as they are Nogizaka46 members. Also, even after.
Support them Japanese people. All of them!
Slaying at the Center
Holy! Let me tell you the godliness going on here. First, the song is Keyakizaki46 breakout first single, “Silent Majority.” Everyone and their oji-san loves it. Second, it looks like the Kami-7 of AKB48 plus a few of their senbatsu sousekyou members. Third, Nogizak46 and their most popular members. Fourth, Keyaki-chan represented by their most popular members as well. And finally, Ikoma Rina from Nogizaka46 killing as center.
Now, this makes me believe that anyone can slay at the center of this song.
