Link of the Day [6.23.20]

Just because one recurring post series ends does not mean it stays done. Just look at “Link of the Day” as this series is just forever constant. Isn’t most everything I post a link of the day though? I guess I am just lazy at writing titles.

Anyhow, I return, once again, to Nogizaka46. I know, right. You’re probably sick and tired of them. You who do not know the fantastic group of girls. So today’s link can get you all the streaming of Nogizaka46 that you can handle. I think it’s just a couple hundred yen per month. Maybe it’s $10. Maybe it’s $15. I don’t know. Run it through a translation website. But at least you get tons of Nogizaka46 content.

Me? I’m not signed up just yet. Waiting for more concerts. You? Sign up. Today.

Covid-19 Days – 99

My sleep schedule is totally messed. I’ve been trying to catch Nogizaka’s 46 Hour TV since yesterday. I was up late last night, and caught a couple hours of sleep this afternoon. I’m here for the last day for this. I’m loving every minute!

For me, the first Nogizaka46 Hour TV pulled me totally into the Nogi fandom. It happened back in 2016 in place of their 4th Year Birthday Live in February of that year. It was the last big thing to see them as they were when I first became a fan. I think it was 36 members across only two generations. Nagashima, MaiMai, and Nanamin would be graduated by the end of the year. Third generation would be there by the fall. But just those 46 hours early in the year cemented my love for the group and for its members.

It looks like we have about another 5-6 hours left. Nogizaka will always make me smile.

Covid-19 Days – 98

Well this could’ve been done earlier into the self restraint and it would’ve been awesome. IT’S ANOTHER NOGIZAKA46 HOUR TV! Looks like I’l be up for the next 46!

Actually it started at 6 AM in my neck of the woods. There was break at 2 PM then started back up. Maybe we’ll get a sleep break sometime tomorrow morning!

世界中の隣人よ

I like the idols that I follow. I like to cheer them on. I know that they take comfort in the support from their fans. It makes them happy.

Yet it’s also great that they like to cheer us on. How? By being cute, talented, and hard-working. They do what they do, because it makes their fans happy.

Early this week, Nogizaka46 released a music video to give us hope that we’ll soon get out of this rona season of madness. Its title in romaji is “Sekaijuu no Rinjin yo” and in English is “Neighbors Around the World.” They hope that this song reaches you and makes your day a little bit brighter. They hope it brings a smile to your face. They want you to be happy even amongst this madness.

Know that they sing for everyone around the world.

I love the idols that I follow.

世界で一番 孤独なLover [Live Band Ver.]

I guess I was wrong on the last one. This one here is the most recent. It’s from last September which seems like a long time ago. This is from the last day of last summer’s national tour AKA Sakurai Reika Graduation concert. Captain’s graduation. Really, the end game for the 1st Generation Nogizaka members. It was a great run, and I will miss them, but long live Nogizaka46!

Is this the last version that I’ll show you? Perhaps. But if I find more, you can bet they’ll end up here.

207 Nogizaka46 Songs Sorted Best to Worst

Two hundred and seven songs ranked. Did this sometime this week. I believe the top five is correct and everything else was by the whims I had as I did the sort. Except, that Zambi theme song. That song is butt.

世界で一番 孤独なLover [7th Year BDay Live Ver.]

The most recent one and, I believe, the one I watched over and over such that I decided to go with this theme. From 2019 and Nogizaka46’s 7th Year Birthday Live at Osaka Dome. Yamashita sporting twin-tails means this was on day 3 of 4. The last being Nanase’s graduation concert. Be thankful for having the full version. They don’t often do the full version, because for their birthday lives, they do their entire discography — 170+ at this time. This year it was 200 songs!

Maiyan may have graduated. Long live Maiyan!
