Link of the Day [5.19.20]
Oh, my. It’s going to break my brain. I hope it does to you. It will make you love them even more.
My favorite Japanese idol group filled with elegant, classy members
Oh, my. It’s going to break my brain. I hope it does to you. It will make you love them even more.
The members at their peak. Tokyo Dome is what they strived for and after 6 years they reached it. It was great to see them there. Maybe it was all downhill from that point, but still we got Tokyo Dome in 2017.
Sorry about the low quality of the video. This is the only 2nd Year BD Live I can find on YouTube. Thank kami-sama I found it. Of course now that I’ve showed it to you, it’s ruined the flow. We have to go back in time to 2014. The best was but the best is still to come.
I’m just here to see the girls sweat. I’ll stay for the first live performance of Nigemizu. You stick around, too. I think you’ll enjoy this.
You know I think I remember this being one of the first Nogizaka46 concerts I watched either live as it was streaming or soon after from one of the idol video web pages. Most likely a day or two after since I didn’t know where or when someone would stream Japanese idol shows — not on YouTube as the algorithm hadn’t found out my obsession. Nowadays, it’s easy. There’s even some dudes that stream the Sakamichi block on Sunday morning — 3 shows from Nogizaka and her sister groups that usually air midnight JST Sunday. Although, the stream killers have been taking them down lately.
Maiyan would’ve graduated today. Instead, because of the rona, she’s still a member of Nogizaka46. I don’t know. I’m conflicted. On one hand, I’m happy to see her still part of the group. On the other hand, I really want to see the next phase of Nogizaka46 without the Absolute Ace. On the third hand, it has got to be very emotional for her, so I’ll continue to support her for forever.
Today’s version though has Saito Asuka in charge. It’s from their 2016 National Summer Tour. I think this one is a favorite. At least until we get further along… Yeah, also, Asuka’s in charge now.
This is about where I come in as a Nogizaka fan, around the summer of 2015. This is again their summer tour. I am hoping they will have it again this year, but most likely not. It makes me sad. Like Maiyan leaving and not getting a true graduation concert. Well she sort of postponed her graduation concert which would’ve taken place in Tokyo Dome from today, tomorrow, and Thursday. Instead we get to reminisce through today’s version. Enjoy.
Well we’ve gotten to the sakamichi series number of days, 46! So in honor let’s go with the cutest front three. Watch this bootleg. It’s been up for ages, and hopefully, it will be still for a few more years… or at least until it falls off the page.
Are the members cool or what? No? But still they are showing the power of Nogizaka46.
Short version of the music video from the official Nogizaka46 YouTube channel. They usually post the regular version in the weeks leading up to a single’s release, but switch it out for the short version soon after. I guess it induces you to buy the discs.
