Beauty and the Film Geek

The discussion about the Oscar nominations over at The Seed is going along swimmingly. You should join.

But that’s not what this post is about.

What I want to know is who’s hosting the Science and Technical Awards? Every year they get some actress to present the awards.

Check out this list:

Hotties!

So who cares about Ellen, who’s the technical achievement awards host? She’ll probably charm the audience.

Oui. C’est vrai. Elle est une hottie.

Esquire’s Women We Love 2006 issue features some obscure women that they love. Nothing comes as obscure as this hottie, Melissa Theuriau. She’s a French tv newscaster. Kicks Katie Couric’s ass in looks, and I bet the sad news about the Iraq war would sound some much sexier coming with a French accent. C’est la guerre.

Not quitting her day job

Before hitting it big on Lost, Evangeline Lily, she was the spokesmodel for LiveLinks, a phone dating service. Her contract must not have run out yet, because they are still airing these commercials. I just saw the Christmas one. She’s still a cutie.

Girls in glasses

I don’t know why guys don’t find girls in glasses attractive. I find them down right hot. Tina Fey, hot! Racheal Harris, hot! I think it comes from my first crush being a girl who wore glasses. I wonder if she still does or did she eventually get laser eye surgery. Girls in glasses are damn sexy. Please, if you are a girl with some seeing problems forcing you to wear corrctive lenses, stay that way and avoid the temptation for laser eye surgery. If you are a girl who has perfect vision, get some fake glasses. You’ll look damn sexy in them. And when you do give me a call.
