Well, it seems like every few months we’ll put another Nogizaka46 item up. Today is no different. Link to a special site for their upcoming, 27th Single 「ごめんねFingers crossed」(Gomen ne Fingers Crossed).
While I am not too happy with the lineup — the center is Endou Sakura, it still looks to be a great music video. Hopefully, it will be a narrative type. Maybe it is Nogi’s fast & furious version!
The iPad, I think, is finally bonked. I hit update for the latest iOS, but it has been rebooting for the better part of the day. It progresses with the update, but then… kaput. Reboot.
Plugged in it kept doing that dance, so I took it off of life support and let it drain its battery. I just tried connecting to it with my laptop and it is still the same.
The problem was always there. For the past year, it would periodically reboot unexpectedly. It would first freeze then restart. Sometimes it would do it in succession. Something was definitely wrong with it. Sadly, I think I will be without an iPad for quite sometime then.
Lance Mannion was my favorite blogger. He wrote the best movie reviews. I really wanted to write like that guy. Sadly, he passed away last night. That’s too unexpected. I follow him on twitter and he’s always tweeting away. But now… dang.

We’re running out of disk space. How will I ever download those bootlegs? Nowhere to put them.
But I wiped out my NAS and should be finding transferring things to it. I guess. Except maybe I might want more space on that thing. We’ll have to see. I guess.
Finally. They came to their senses. They were losing out on the money. Now the money shall be flowing. Maybe, we’ll start to see it streaming.

It has been a year since I’ve seen a movie in the theaters. Only something big can get me to risk it in an enclosed space with people even while the rona is still romping around. Big as in kaiju big! Godzilla vs. Kong.
I was watching the theater’s site for how many people will show up for the opening Friday. The cheaper tickets in the cheaper auditorium was filling up, so I took a chance and bought a seat in a slightly more expensive auditorium, the one I don’t really like, but it had not many people watching. Plus, they close out the seat next to you. I didn’t have to worry as there maybe was about a dozen people watching in the auditorium that could’ve seated eighty.
I was completely worried. I did not feel comfortable all the while I watched the film. I wonder if I am infected in anyway. But it was fine to be back. I really went for the popcorn. That is all different as I couldn’t pour my own butter so it wasn’t as great as I was hoping it to be.
The movie was fine. Lots of action. No idea why they needed people. Kind of copped out in the end. Meh for the first film to watch in the theaters. Maybe I won’t worry too much for whatever’s coming, and maybe it will be a much better film.

We won’t be seeing this for much longer considering that they’ll go on and do their things, but at least in this year, we get Nogi’s best once again.
Did I ever tell you how much I like Nogizaka46 members even after they have graduated from the group? Well then, consider this your notification.
It went by so fast, and yet it felt like nine times more days than that. Was it just a year ago that it came all crashing to a halt? Was it just a year ago that we finally knew that the rona was something to be wary about? Was it really that long ago that dumb, morally corrupt people were in charge of fighting it? People who don’t give a hoot about other people. Bury our dead in their Florida resorts. It really was. Just a year ago.
Still. We are not out of it just yet.
Yesterday, President Biden had a speech upon which he wants to really get the US over the hump by the 4th of July. If we all can put our effort to getting the vaccine and to keep being vigilant, maybe we can do it.
